The most cost-effective version of The Wee Nifty Harp with no semitone levers.
Semitone levers are not necessarily essential for new players in the very early stages of learning to play the harp, so this model allows the cost of adding levers to be deferred until a later stage. The harp frame is pre-drilled to allow easy home installation of our partial (11) or full (27) Camac semitone lever sets. It is also possible to order just the levers you need to enable bespoke tuning options or to suit a particular study piece.
Three Piezo pickups are pre-installed to the resonator for use with external amplification, effects pedals, inline headphone amplifiers and recording equipment. Supplied with tuning key, while harp stands and bags are available as optional accessories.
Choice of strings:
As standard, the harp has 24 nylon strings and 3 wire-wound bass strings with open tuning in E♭. These are rated as medium tension and are light enough to be ideally suited to a new player.
You can, however, choose to opt for 24 medium gauge Savarez fluorocarbon strings at an additional cost during the checkout process. They are thinner, but as a very dense synthetic polymer construction, the acoustic upgrade they deliver is more volume with a bright and lively tone. Less likely to break, they are also great at holding pitch once they are in tune.
